Season-Ending World Championships of Freestyle Motocross Returns to LA

LG World Championships of Freestyle Motocross Took over Fairplex Park on September 29th

The world's biggest names in Freestyle Motocross headed back to Los Angeles for the richest and final FMX championship event of 2007. With more than $100,000 in prize money at stake, the LG World Championships of Freestyle Motocross (FMX) took center stage on September 29th on the Grandstand Infield of the L.A. County Fair.

Barely a decade old, the high-octane sport of FMX draws fans by the droves, uniquely combining two international obsessions: motorsports and daredevil thrills. Like NASCAR, these riders, all of whom have already qualified for this World Championship event, have rapidly become mainstream household names, like X Games gold medalist Travis Pastrana, four-time World Champion Nate Adams, former IFMA Series Champion Kenny Bartram, Mike Metzger, Drake McElroy and Jim McNeil.

Produced by ASA Entertainment, the world's largest producer of action sports competition and lifestyle events and television programming, the LG Action World Championships of FMX will featured the world's 12 best pro FMX riders in head-to-head competition. The event crowned the undisputed 2007 World Champion, Jeremy Stenberg with the winner taking home the lion's share of the $100,000 pro purse. The event will be televised nationally via prime time weekend programming on November 18 on CBS, with additional coverage through Versus and TV distribution to over 140 countries worldwide.
